NiP, fnatic with easy wins in London

Ninjas in Pyjamas and fnatic got off to perfect starts at the FACEIT League 2015 Stage 1 finals after beating Immunity and Team Liquid, respectively, on two maps.

Day one of the FACEIT League 2015 Stage 1 offline finals, taking place inside the company's studio, in London, began with two Swedish giants locking horns with teams from outside of Europe and who attended the event looking to prove themselves at a top level.

Immunity, who are making their first appearance with the new line-up, featuring Karlo "⁠USTILO⁠" Pivac instead of Yaman "⁠yam⁠" Ergenekon, were simply no match for NiP on de_inferno, where the Swedish side ran out 16-5 victors after picking up 10 rounds on the Terrorist side of the map.

fnatic and NiP move on to the group's Winner Bracket final 

On de_dust2, the Australian side gave a much better account of themselves and were close to overturning a 4-11 deficit, but NiP sealed the victory in the final round to advance to the next stage.

Team Liquid, one of the few top North American sides that have not (yet) been affected by the region's shuffle, turned in an absolutely dismal performance during the series against fnatic, picking up just four rounds across the board as they were downed 1-16 on de_cobblestone and 3-16 on de_mirage.
